Past exhibitions

Harvey’s held their first in-house exhibition back in 1978.

“The Chippendale Period” showed a selection of fine mid-18th Century pieces to illustrate the many facets of Thomas Chippendale’s work. The illustrated catalogue showed examples and related them to his famous book of designs, “The Gentleman and Cabinetmaker’s Director” first published in 1754.
