This catalogue was produced at the time when so many people in the Media were saying that Brown Furniture- Good Old Georgian Brown was dead and out of fashion. The minimalist look was all the rage and unfortunately the people writing these articles were believing all they were told by the likes of IKEA. This catalogue and the pieces shown both individually and in room settings helped to change public perceptions and lay the way for Fine English Antique Furniture from the greatest of all periods, 1680 to 1830, to make its comeback amongst fashionable purchasers.
