An extraordinary William and Mary Period Kingwood Oyster veneered and Rosewood Crossbanded Cabinet on Chest by Thomas Pistor, the moulded top above a bolection moulded secret drawer oyster veneered to resemble a wave motion and above two doors each with geometrically inlaid patterns of roundels and corner spandrels within crossbanded borders and opening to reveal a fully fitted interior of 11 drawers around a central door all conformingly inlaid, the door opening to reveal further small drawers, the base with two half width and two full width Oyster Kingwood geometrically inlaid drawers with conforming bandings and the whole raised on Bun Feet. A superb and important George Ist. Period Burr Walnut Bureau Bookcase, the moulded top above a cavetto cornice and two shaped, mirrored doors with soft bevelled mirror plates above pull out candle stands and opening to reveal an interior fitted with drawers, shaped pigeon holes, shelves and folio stands, the bureau flap opening to show further small drawers and shaped pigeon holes around a central door flanked by architectural columns above a leather lined writing surface, two half width and three full width drawers, the whole raised on shaped bracket feet. The sides are crossbanded and the whole piece is elaborately inlaid with chevron or feather banding throughout. Provenance: Available on request

An excellent George III Period Mahogany Partners’ Desk,the rectangular, gilt tooled green leather lined top with rounded corners above three frieze drawers to both sides, the two pedestals fitted 3 graduated drawers each to one side and panelled cupboards to the other with internal shelves and the whole raised on plinth bases with hidden casters.
